how much you adore and love this person.

It is always easy to walk away, 

but never easy to stay . . .

For someone who is willing to stay with their other half 

even after finding out they have been cheated/betrayed;

it takes a lot of courage to not walk away.

That is probably because they want to protect

what is important to them.
